My Commitment is to move CFA Forward to the Future and Not Back to the Past. 

The CFA Southern Region has changed dramatically during the past six years I have been your regional director.  Today, the Southern Region is a financially successful region supported by volunteers from every part of the region.  To keep the Southern Region strong requires a director who understands how a region works in today’s world.  Support me to ensure a strong and successful future for the Southern Region and CFA.

Committed to Communication

·         Attended over 25 Southern Region shows each year in every part of the region

·         Held over 70 regional meetings in the past six years

·         Solicited input from all exhibitors via email,  meetings and one-on-one discussions

·         My Promise

o        Pre-notice Regional Meetings via CFA SR List and Website

o        Publish Regional Meeting Minutes

o        Continue to attend as many SR shows as possible to be accessible to all

Committed to Regional Unity

·         Held regional shows and meetings in all parts of the region

·         More participation at regional banquet and shows than ever before

·         Increased the number of volunteers from all parts of the region

·         My Promise

o        Establish regional liaisons in all states to ensure all voices are heard

o        Be accessible by attending shows in each state

o        Continue to hold regional events and shows all over the region

Committed to Fiscal Responsibility

·         Financially successful regional shows through responsible planning and show  management

·         Financial Plan less dependent on regional fund raising and donations   

·         My Promise

o        A financial plan that requires fewer donations from Southern Region exhibitors

o        Implement additional programs to benefit Southern Region clubs and exhibitors

Committed to Supportive Regional Management  

·         Involved Regional Director always available and accessible for support and advice

·         Established Southern Region Disaster Relief fund to help CFA SR exhibitors in need

·         Established Southern Region Legislative Fund to help fight SR anti-breeder legislation 

·         My Promise

o        Continue to be available to Southern Region clubs and exhibitors
